NACE is currently working on the third stage of its ‘Making Space for Able Learners’ project, studying how we can best support more able learners who encounter disadvantage in its many forms. There is no doubt that this group of learners are the most adrift of any group by the time they reach the end of Key Stage 4, and there is growing evidence that the gap is now widening following the recent interruptions to schooling.
The day will bring together school leaders and practitioners from all phases and contexts to develop a shared understanding of the current challenges faced by schools, and you will hear from school leaders who have overcome some of these challenges.
As well as hearing from inspiring keynote speakers, you’ll have the opportunity to attend workshops led by NACE Associates and school leaders from across the NACE community. We expect you to leave feeling inspired, informed and empowered, with practical actions to take back into your school.
NACE members £195; Non-members £295
